Ramco Cements, a renowned name in the construction industry, recently embarked on sustainable waste management journey with-Green Connects bio gas plant. It all began when Ramco Cements stumbled upon newspaper article highlighting the success of Green Connects bio gas plant in converting food waste into usable energy. Intrigued by the concept, Ramco Cements expressed their interest in exploring the possibilities of managing their canteen waste through this innovative approach.
Initially, Ramco Cements harbored doubts about the feasibility of generating bio gas from food waste. They challenged Green Connect to install a bio gas plant and prove its efficiency before receiving any payment. Green Connect accepted the challenge and took the initiative to install the first bio gas plant at the Vazhappadi Ramco factory, taking a leap of faith without requiring an advance payment.
To everyones delight, the bio gas plant at the Vazhappadi Ramco factory began producing gas successfully. Word of this ground breaking waste management solution soon spread to other Ramco factories, piquing their interest.
Subsequently, Green Connect started receiving inquiries and requests for bio gas plant installations from other Ramco units.
